[ KOREA TRAVELOG ] The Land of The Morning Calm Part 2
Ihwa Mural Village
Ihwa Mural Village is actually a home for working class people who could not afford to live at the heart of Seoul.
The village is enhanced by Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism by inviting college students, visitors and volunteers to create their art along the street.
The route to Ihwa Mural Village is a bit hilly so make sure to put your comfortable shoes while roaming the street.
I fall in love with this picture, this two figures remain me of my childhood movie, Mary Poppins for no reasons |
The skyscrapers, the hills and the houses would make you feel nothing, but feeling so Seoul!!!
Haha
This is the first art that you will encountered. |
It seems like dogs are part of most of the Korean family here.
I don't know what this art is all about but I have some idea that maybe the artist wants to stress the special connection between dogs and human.
The feeling of so Seoul while we were here is so strong! hehe |
There are cafes, souvenir shops and hanbok to rent if you feel like splurging your money here.
Hehe.
Since it is a residence, visitors are expected to not make noise and take pictures of the interior house even the door is open.
Most importantly, do not litter.
Stay tight to one another! |
Once you reach here, leaving behind the busy buzzing Seoul city, you would feel very peaceful and calm with the fresh air that surrounds you every breathe,
you know you have made a good choice!
Stairs and more stairs! |
Superheroes and a superwoman (That's me) |
Little red riding hood with little red riding bicycle |
Hana, Dul, Se Click! |
The famous Kpop artists on 2017 |
Shhh! Someone is watching. |
One of the Santa Clause's reindeer is found to be in Seoul! |
Namsan Tower
Namsan Tower to Korea is like KLCC to Malaysia, the most prominent landmark in South Korea with thousands or maybe more visiting each year.
From Ihwa, we boarded a bus that goes straight to Namsan, just like Ihwa, the journey to Namsan is much more hilly that once we got off from the bus, we still have to climb hills for about 15 minutes or so to reach the top.
Our tour guide insists us to take pictures here when we said 'Let's go home' Haha. But hey! It turns out to be a pretty photo! |
Ahjussi is taking our pictures with Namsan Tower at the back as a remembrance. |
So next to the drawing booth, an Ahjussi was asking us to take picture with Namsan Tower for 5,000 KRW. And we agreed because he's an Ahjussi! We can't say no to Ahjussi or Ahjumma. 😀
Trees of love locks! and us! Well, vandalism happens to be anywhere. |
Thousands of love locks are locked to one another and I wonder if it might topple down. 😓 |
New love locks and rusty love locks, I also wonder what happens to the couples of the rusty love locks. Do they break up? Herherher |
I am a girl |
Do not mind my weird position. |
Nonetheless, I like this shot as well because of the dancing, scary trees behind. They look unique and natural.
Most of the Ahjussi that we met here mostly said 'Omma, ipppo!' while pointing at my mother. Nah, dad does not need to know this. LOL |
