Lone Ranger

Do you enjoy of being alone? All by yourself. Some people have no confidence to eat alone, or travel alone. They need companian to accompany them. Why? One of my friends told me it is because she feels awkward when people are looking at her while having her meal in a restaurant, and she does not know how to fill the time and space while being alone, apart of scrolling and swaping her smartphone.  How about me? I like having friends, and I enjoy being alone too. Here are few reasons why I enjoy being alone.

Listen to inner thoughts
When I am alone, I would be talking less but listen, see and think more. That is when I activate my brain to scrutinize things that happen around me from smallest to biggest. These inner thoughts won't conjure when I do a lot of talking, by other means, when I am with my friends or other people. These close observations lead me to think of a situation to start writing my poems!

Me, a pen and a piece of paper!

Small matters do matter
Whenever I feel sluggish and emotionally tired with endless events and dramas, I will treat myself with solo trip. It might be just a stone's throw away from my place, but taking public transports and be among those strangers rejuvenate me. I encountered a foreign blind tourist who held his stick on his right hand while his left arm was wrapped around his friend's. I don't know if you do, but I feel contented looking at them. Looking at their smiles, believe it or not, these small matters somehow make me feel happy. :)

Find happiness around you, it is visible ;)

Independent and Matured
Being alone definitely make you more independent and matured. You would know the hows and whys for your own cause. When you are at your lowest, you are creative enough to get off from the unfavourable situation and you start to get used with the absence of people when falling down. Depending on people around you is not a bad thing to do but the bad comes in when it is too much. You will easily get frustrated and disappointed.

Being alone is not that bad isn't it?

Communication skills (haha)

I am not sure if this is just happening to me or to some of you too. But I communicate better when my friends are not around. If they are around me, I would rely on them to initiate the conversation first and prefer to be the listener. Compared when I am alone, by hook or by crook I have to start the chat first. Hahaha. There's absolutely no way for me to stay silence when I need to ask them where is Gate C in a huge building like Terminal Bersepadu Selatan TBS!

It is not that I am a forever loner, I do have few good friends that I can count on and of course they have hearts of gold! They are my happy pills for sure!

Long live everyone!

A song to celebrate my very first post in my new blog!
